Horses at Manx ChasersNews and Special Offers

Cross Country Course Remains Open!!!

In line with DAFF’s advice to farmers and the Animal Health Divisions policy, “Arrive Clean : Leave Clean!” We are advised that the Manx Chasers Cross Country Course at Ballig Farm can continue to be used.

Provided those visiting comply with the following:

  • Book in advance
  • Hoof pick prior to loading
  • Wash and disinfect vehicles before travelling
  • Wash and disinfect on arrival at Manx Chasers
  • Again wash and disinfect on departure

This policy will hopefully help to maintain health and hygiene in the countryside and minimise the risks of the spread of any possible infection.

EVNPA Versatility Show

Saturday 15th September 2007

Thank you to all the competitors and friends from EVNPA for their co-operation with the bio-security measures which enabled the show to go ahead.

We were pleased to receive so much positive feedback from competitors and committee alike regarding both the venue and the going under foot.

There are some great photos on the following websites:

Looking for good homes:

Kittens, looking for homes in the countryside preferably on farms or at stables. Brilliant hunters. Currently we have 8 kittens, which are looking for homes; they all have individual markings, but most are tabbies.
They are very useful hunters to keep down the mice!! But unfortunately we already have enough cats to manage our hay barns and farmyards.
